Studera.is is an online language learning platform that helps users practice Icelandic pronunciation using AI-powered speech recognition and feedback. The Service includes:
You may use limited features of the Service without creating an account. To access full features, save progress across devices, and subscribe to premium, you must register using:
Each account is licensed for use by a single individual only. You may not share your account credentials with others or allow multiple people to use the same account. If you need access for multiple users (family, classroom, organization), please contact us about appropriate licensing options.
If you create an account, you agree to:
You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. This will permanently remove your account data, learning progress, and statistics. See our Privacy Policy for details on data retention.
Premium subscriptions are processed through Áskell, our Icelandic payment provider. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges according to your chosen plan (monthly or yearly).
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You can manage your subscription (cancel, change payment method, view receipts) through Áskell's management page, accessible from your profile.
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at kunnatta@kunnatta.is within 14 days of purchase if you're unsatisfied.
We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions continue at their current rate until the next renewal after the change takes effect.

All content on the Service - including text, audio, graphics, logos, and software - is owned by Kunnátta ehf. or our licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

AI-powered features may occasionally produce inaccurate results. Pronunciation scores and feedback are approximations and should not be considered definitive assessments.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KUNNÁTTA EHF. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.
